Congregational Care

At the core of our mission is an unwavering commitment to embodying the love of Jesus within our church community. Rooted in the profound truth of John 3:16, where we are reminded of God’s boundless love for us, we fervently believe in reciprocating that love by wholeheartedly caring for one another.

Our dedication to congregational care is palpable and purposeful. Collaborating closely with our esteemed Pastor, our congregational care team diligently crafts thoughtful plans to minister to the needs of our church family, particularly during times of hardship.

From heartfelt hospital visits to compassionate outreach for those experiencing grief and loss, from bringing the communion table to the homes of the home-bound to the creation of prayer shawls, our care extends to every corner of our church family’s lives. We go beyond the pews, reaching out to those absent from worship with personalized cards and calls, ensuring that no one feels disconnected.

Empowerment is key. Through comprehensive training provided by our pastoral staff, we equip all lay caregivers with the skills and knowledge needed to extend genuine care and support. Whether it’s navigating the complexities of divorce, coping with grief, or addressing various challenges, we strive to be a beacon of assistance, providing resources and a helping hand whenever needed.

Our commitment to a Safe Sanctuary underscores our dedication to creating a secure and nurturing environment for all. We believe in fostering a sense of belonging and protection within our church family.

The Family Life team adds an extra layer of vibrancy to our community through engaging church-wide events. These gatherings transcend generations, fostering fellowship, fun, and spiritual growth. From delightful potluck meals to meticulously catered events, we come together to celebrate new members, birthdays, anniversaries, and baptisms on a quarterly basis.

In essence, congregational care is not just a duty for us; it is a heartfelt and exhilarating expression of our love for God and our neighbors. As the hands and feet of Jesus, we joyfully embrace this calling, ensuring that our church family thrives in a community infused with love, support, and shared growth.
